Sewer Replacement

You’re busy, and replacing a sewer is no one’s idea of a good time. If you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, your best bet is to get it done quickly and make sure to get it right the first time. The Drain Team® is here to help with 1-hour service, tons of experience, free estimates, and friendly shoulder pats (but only if you want them).

When Do You Need a Sewer Replacement?

There are a few circumstances that may require replacing your sewer line. For instance, tree root incursions are common. That’s when a tree grows through your existing pipe, disrupting the pressure and allowing sewage to leak into the environment.

Breaks in the sewer pipe, bellied pipes, blockages, or misaligned joints can all cause trouble with the sewer as well. In some cases, the city may bear responsibility for fixing it. In other cases, you’re on the line. We’ll be able to tell where the city line begins.

How Do We Determine You Need One?

Our technicians use a camera to inspect the line, determine the problem, and provide an estimate. We use a transmitting beacon, allowing us to pinpoint the problem depth and location to within an inch. If we determine you do need a replacement, we’ll have a very good idea of what the job will entail, so we can give you an accurate quote.

What Is the Replacement Timeline?

Unlike many other companies, we have a large and knowledgeable staff, so we can get started on your project very quickly, often within an hour or a day. Plus, once we start a job, we stay there until it’s finished. We’ll make sure the system is operational for you that night, then come back the next day for inspections and to clean up.

How Do We Price Our Quotes?

We often get asked about pricing, and our answer is always the same: we do what’s fair to everyone. We will calculate the cost of materials and labor, as well as any permitting expenditures, and we will deliver you the lowest possible quote. This is a firm project price that, barring unforeseen circumstances, will not change between the start and end of the job.

If you’ve already been told that you need a sewer replacement and are calling for a second opinion or to work with us, talk to our team about the pricing options for your video inspection. We always want to ensure everyone gets treated fairly and that you’re never charged twice for the same answer, so we’ll do our best to work with you.
